The U16 D League playoffs include the top 4 teams from the division. The playoffs consist of a semi-final round and a final, both played as single elimination matches. The winner of the playoffs earns automatic promotion to the U16 CBL Prime Division for the following season, joining the team that finished first in the regular season standings. Therefore, two teams in total are promoted.
If the team that wins the playoffs is also the top-placed team from the regular season, the second promotional spot goes to the playoff runner-up. This ensures that two distinct teams are promoted each season.
