Recap
Frenford Falcon’s Curtis Kemp led all scorers with 16 points personal, including the final 2 decisive free-throws to secure the win for his team’s first win of the new season in a nail-biting clash against the well-coached Haringey Tigers.
Tigers started the stronger of the two behind early buckets from Acer Martin-Gammon and Leo Williams. Falcons clipped back in the second as Kemp got going, pushing his team into a slim lead by 1 at the half.
In the back and forth affair, it was the Tigers who again clawed their way back in front in the third quarter, outscoring Frenford by 3, to lead by 2 heading into the final stanza.
However, an outstanding 9 point barrage in the most important period of the game by the irrepressible Kemp, including the game winning free-throws, snatched victory for the Falcons in an exciting U12 Development League game.
