TOWER HAMLETS SWOOP IN FOR THE WIN AGAINST PULSE

Tower Hamlets Ravens under 14’s started the new CBL season in style with a well-orchestrated win against the London Pulse by a score of 45-11 on Sunday 20th November 2016.  This is the second season the Ravens team have all been playing together and their experience showed, against a Pulse team comprised of predominantly new players who got their first taste of organised competition.

Tower Hamlets were led in scoring by Andre Parker who poured in an impressive 21 points, showing good touch around the basket and improved agility that allowed him to score freely in the paint.  Ravens founder and overall club head coach Albert Ziwa was pleased with the performance of his young squad: “Andre played well today, but I’m proud of the whole team.  When we joined the CBL last season we were learning from scratch – one season on, they’re really starting to understand how to play as a team and enjoying the process”.
