SCORPIONS STING SOUTHWARK TO MAKE CBL SEMI FINALS

The Enfield Scorpions refused to take their foot off the gas and came away victorious after beating the Southwark Legends 47-22 to advance to the CBL Semi Final.

The first half started off tight with the scores staying even, until the second quarter was dominated by the Scorpions who opened up a 5 point lead playing some great team basketball to then finish 17-12 going into the third.

Scorpions, Nathan Robson, proved a constant threat for Southwark as he consistently managed to get to the free throw line, putting a lot of pressure on the Legends’ defence.

In the third, Enfield continued their dominance with Denzel Oye-Delaquis coming off the bench and providing a big spark to help extend the lead for the Scorpions.

The final stanza saw the Legends try to mount a comeback on the back of some great play, but outstanding team basketball from the Scorpions proved to be too much.
