The Reach & Teach Foundation is a registered charity that focuses on using sport and art as a tool to develop positive social, academic, physical and vocational change in young people, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The foundation is proud to support the CBL as it successfully engages young people and provides positive activities that help develop transitional skills that extend beyond the sports arena and into other areas of their lives. We are particularly pleased with the links the CBL has with colleges and other education providers, helping young people get back into or stay within mainstream education and vocational training. Having the right support and access to education plays a key role in determining positive life outcomes and we believe sports provide an ideal bridge back into education for many young people who may have been marginalised or excluded from equal opportunities due to factors outside of their control.
