A superb weekend for Kensington & Chelsea Knights saw them win by more than double in an important league game against Harrow Blackhawks (56-23).

Ivan Ballesteros led Knights with 15 points overall and managed to sink a three in the second quarter to help give his team a double digit lead of 24-12 going into the half.

Team mate, Carlos Alina, maintained this momentum by driving to the basket and securing 7 points in the third, before sealing Knights’ victory with a further 8 points in the final quarter to beat Blackhawks by more than a double margin.

Knights, Carlos Alina, said, ‘Communication is key in every game and I think my team did well to talk to each other throughout. We’re happy for the win and will continue to train hard to keep on coming out strong.’

Both teams play in the CBL run by the London School of Basketball (LSB) in partnership with Reach and Teach. For more information, please contact lwilliams@reachandteach.co.uk
