The CBL U16 Playoff Semi Final marked the end of the road for the talented City of London Academy (COLA) who suffered a loss of 46-11 at the hands of the Haringey Hawks on Sunday 29th May 2016.

The Hawksā€™ big man, Cameron Morris, played exceptionally well on both ends of the floor and led all scorers with 21 points.

Morris set the tone of the game, netting 15 of his 21 points in the first half alone to help Haringey take the lead 28-4 by the end of the second quarter.

A team effort from COLAā€™s Kavell Hawes, Chris Vargas and Xavier Dabire helped to limit Hawks to only 9 points in the third period, but it wasnā€™t enough to hold off Haringeyā€™s J Anderson, S. Mukedi and Leslie Smith who all chipped in to put up 9 points combined and finish the game victoriously.

MVP, Cameron Morris, said, ā€œIt was a good game and Iā€™m glad that we got the W. To make the finals says a lot about our team as weā€™re all talented and work well together to get the job done.ā€
