Wandsworth’s Raydel Lussaney and John Lainez combined for 25 point in a double headed attack that ultimately beat down the Generals. Ā Generals Matthew Allman came into the game as the division’s top scorer at 19ppg and proved hard to guard once again, dropping a game high 17. Ā However Lainez and Lussaney are not new to this – they’ve been terrorising teams throughout the CBL for the last couple of seasons, and when they get rolling, they are hard to stop.
Lussaney is an athletic, versatile wing who rebounds well and finishes at the basket, while Lainez is arguably the most entertaining guard in the CBL. Ā He’s got alot in his bag. Ā Spin dribbles, hesitations, deep 3’s or unorthodox finishes in the lane – don’t let his height fool you…John Lainez has got game.
Good win for Wandsworth as they stay in the hunt in the U25 division, with one eye already on the post-season.
